Text

(a)In Pickens County, in addition to all other fees or court costs levied, a service of process fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) shall be collected for service or attempted service of any papers or documents requiring personal service of process by the sheriff or any deputy sheriff arising out of any civil or criminal action instituted outside of this state.
(b)All funds generated by this section shall be paid into the General Fund of Pickens County designated for law enforcement purposes.
