(a)The Legislature declares and finds that for the public safety and welfare of the residents of Perry County, the County Commission of Perry County may sell gravel to any individual. The price for gravel shall not be less than the fair market value. The county commission shall limit the number of loads to be sold to an individual to 12 loads per calendar year. As used in this section, gravel means any earth used as road building material.
(b)For the public safety and welfare of the residents of the county, the county commission shall supply at no cost to any mobile home owner a maximum of 18 yards of gravel for the purpose of a mobile home pad.
