Text
Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, each member of the board shall take and subscribe the following oath: “I do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the State of Alabama, the Constitution of the United States, and that I will faithfully, zealously, and impartially discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter, without fear or favor, for the public welfare; so help me God.” The successors to the members of the board named in this part shall take and subscribe to the same oath.
