Text

Members of the board of education shall be immune from any civil liability whatsoever, be it in contract, in tort, or otherwise for any actions taken by members in their official capacity as members of the board and done within the line and scope of their authority as members thereof. The members of the board shall have the powers, authority, duties, and responsibilities as are otherwise provided by law for members of boards of education as set forth in Chapter 11 of Title 16.
