§ 45-52-84.01 — Expense Allowance; Salary

(a) The Judge of Probate of Morgan County shall be entitled to an expense allowance, payable from the county treasury, not to exceed four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500) per annum. Such allowance shall be paid in the same manner as are other county supplements.
(b) At the beginning of the next term of office, the Judge of Probate of Morgan County, Alabama, shall receive an annual salary of twenty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($27,500), payable from the county treasury, in equal monthly installments. Such annual salary shall include the four thousand five hundred dollar ($4,500) per annum expense allowance provided in subsection (a) and shall otherwise be in lieu of any fees, salary, expense allowances, or other compensation heretofore provided by law for the judge. The four thousand five hundred dollar ($4,500) expense allowance shall cease at the beginning of the next term of office.
