§ 45-52-83 — Creation and Composition; Authority, Duties, Functions

(a)The Jury Commission of Morgan County provided for by Chapter 2 of Title 30, Code of Alabama 1940, as presently constituted is hereby abolished.
(b)Hereafter, the Jury Commission of Morgan County shall be composed of the circuit court judges of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Alabama who reside in Morgan County, the judge of the County Court of Morgan County, and two qualified electors of the county who are reputed for their fairness, impartiality, integrity, and good judgment, appointed by the Governor. The two appointive members of the jury commission shall hold office for terms to run concurrently with the term of the Governor.
