§ 45-52-70 — Expense Allowances and Salaries for Chair and Commissioners
(a)(1) Commencing on August 1, 1995, the Chair of the Morgan County Commission shall receive an annual expense allowance that will make the total compensation for the chair fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000), pay-able in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.
(2)Commencing on August 1, 1995, each Commissioner of the Morgan County Commission shall receive an annual expense allowance that will make the total compensation for each commissioner forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000), payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.
(b)Commencing with the next term of office, the salary of the Chair of the Morgan County Commission shall be fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) annually, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund a
