Text

(a)The Commissioner of Licenses of Morgan County shall be entitled to receive an additional expense allowance in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per annum to be paid out of the county general fund monthly in equal amounts. This expense allowance shall be in addition to any and all other compensation, salary, and expense allowances provided for by law. Effective January 14, 2002, and thereafter, the expense allowance provided in this subsection to the commissioner of licenses shall be considered as salary for retirement and benefit purposes.
(b)Effective the next term of office after January 14, 2002, the annual salary of the commissioner of licenses shall be increased by five thousand dollars ($5,000) per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of
