Text

(a)The Montgomery County Commission shall have the authority to increase the compensation of all election officials appointed to hold elections in the county up to twenty dollars ($20) per day per official.
(b)In addition to all other compensation paid by law to election officials, those officials designated as the chief inspector, inspector, and chief clerk shall henceforth receive the following supplemental amount for each election held:
(1)Chief Inspector $1.50 per machine
(2)Inspector $1.00 per machine
(3)Chief Clerk $.50 per machine
(c)The provisions of this section are in addition to statewide compensation for election officials as specified by Section 17-6-13.
