§ 45-50-60 — Expense Allowance; Compensation

(a)The Coroner of Monroe County is to be paid an expense account of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per month. This expense account is in lieu of all fees which he or she now receives.
(b)(1) Commencing on June 1, 1994, the Coroner of Monroe County shall be entitled to an additional expense allowance in the amount of two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) per annum, which shall be in addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law. This expense allowance shall be payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county.
(2)Beginning with the expiration of the term of the incumbent coroner, the annual salary for the coroner shall be increased by two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) per annum, payable in equal monthly installmen
