Text

(a)In addition to all existing charges, fees, judgments, and costs of court, the fee for each document or court order generated by or processed through the office of the Monroe County Circuit Clerk to be personally served by the Monroe County Sheriff, or his or her designee, shall be twenty dollars ($20). For the purposes of this section, the term document shall include multiple papers served on a party or entity at one time.
(b)The court official designated in Monroe County by law for the respective courts shall collect the additional service of process fee designated in subsection (a) and remit the fees collected to the Monroe County Commission General Fund for deposit in the fund to be expended for law enforcement purposes.
