(a)In Mobile County, the judge of probate and chief clerk of the probate court may utilize a computer generated, digitized electronic signature of the judge of probate or the chief clerk of the probate court as the required signature of the judge of probate or the chief clerk for purposes of issuing summons, subpoenas, orders, or other legal process from the probate court to the Sheriff of Mobile County or the sheriff of any other county in this state, for service on parties named.
(b)The Judge of Probate and Sheriff of Mobile County and the sheriff of any other county in this state, may enter into arrangements to use data processing means and technology to transmit legal process to and from the Probate Court of Mobile County and their respective offices, including returns on service sta
