Text

In addition to the salaries paid to the confidential secretaries serving in the circuit or district courts of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit by the state, there may also be paid to each of the secretaries a supplemental salary not to exceed the sum equal to 40 percent of the salary paid to each of the secretaries by the state. At the discretion of the Mobile County Commission, the supplemental salary shall be paid out of the general fund of the county in equal installments at the same time and in the same manner that the salaries of other county employees are paid.
