Text
(a)The commission shall be composed of seven members, five of whom shall be Choctaw Indians residing in Mobile County. The two additional members may or may not be Choctaw Indians but shall be residents of the county. All members of the commission shall be elected by the Choctaw Indians of Mobile County and shall serve four-year terms of office.
(b)All members of the commission shall hold their offices until their successors are nominated and qualified. Any vacancy occurring on the commission shall be filled with temporary appointment by the Mobile County Commission until the vacant seat on the commission is filled.
