Text

(a)The Sheriff of Mobile County shall administer and supervise all electronic monitoring of pretrial defendants in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama.
(b)The sheriff may not contract with another entity for the provision of electronic monitoring services.
(c)(1) The sheriff may establish administrative and supervision fees to fund electronic monitoring for pretrial release, alternative sentencing, intervention, supervision, or other programs to serve the courts of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and may collect fees from any individual placed in such a program.
(2)The sheriff shall have the sole authority to establish fees related to this subsection.
(3)The sheriff shall collect all fees collected pursuant to this subsection and shall deposit the fees into the county general fu
