Text

The Board of Health of Mobile County is hereby authorized to charge and collect any fee it deems necessary and proper for any service rendered by its officers, employees, or agents in the performance of duties, functions, and programs required by law or by regulation or resolution of the county or State Board of Health. The Board of Health of Mobile County may fix a schedule of fees which shall cover the actual cost or a portion thereof involved in the performance of the service rendered. Any fee schedule fixed pursuant to this section shall not go into effect until adopted by the County Commission of Mobile County. The schedule of fees fixed by the board of health and adopted by the county commission may be increased by the board from time to time as is necessary to reflect cost of living
