Text
(a)In Mobile County, best management practices shall be required for forestry and agriculture on any land within the J.B. Converse Lake Watershed as designated by the U.S. Geological Survey. The best management practices required shall be the best management practices for forestry or any agricultural operation as approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management unless the department has not approved best management practices applicable to a particular type of forestry or agricultural operation.
(b)Any alleged violation of the use of best management practices shall be reported to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
(c)The provisions of this section are supplemental and shall not be interpreted to repeal or supersede any other laws in this state.
