Text
An appointing authority, at any time, may assign a classified employee under his or her jurisdiction from one position to another in the same class. Any classified employee may be transferred from one department to another in the same class, provided that the director has authorized the transfer and has received approval of both appointing authorities concerned. In every case involving transfer, the appointing authority shall give written notice to the director. Such transfer cannot be made without approval of the director.
