Text

The Mobile County Board of School Commissioners shall elect a county superintendent of education, who shall hold his or her office for the period of four years, and they may elect or appoint such other officers and agents as they may from time to time deem expedient. The members of the board and the county superintendent shall severally make oath before the Judge of Probate of Mobile County, that they will faithfully and properly demean themselves in their respective offices to the best of their ability.
