Text
(a)A county or city board of education located in Mobile County may approve the use of electronic devices to detect school bus violations by voting at a public meeting of the board to approve the adoption of an electronic school bus enforcement program.
(b)If approved by the county, city, or other school district governing board located in Mobile County, and authorized by ordinance or resolution enacted by the governing body of a local political subdivision, a law enforcement agency or a political subdivision in consultation with a school system, as the case may be, may enter into an agreement with a private vendor for the installation, operation, notice processing, and administration and maintenance of school bus electronic devices on buses within the school system’s fleet whether owned
