Text
(a)The Mobile County Commission shall appropriate annually for a period of 10 years the sum of one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) from the county general fund to the Mobile County School Board. The board shall use the funds for retirement of debt.
(b)Subject to the requirements of Amendment 474 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, the first appropriation shall be made within 30 days after May 7, 1992. Subsequent appropriations shall be made annually on or before the anniversary date of the first appropriation.
