Text

(a)The chair of the commission may employ a chief clerk who shall devote his or her entire time to the duties of the office and who shall receive such salary as the former chief clerk of the commission received until the same is changed or modified according to law. The chief clerk shall be subject to the direct control and supervision of the chair of the commission and may be discharged under the following conditions:
(1)The chief clerk may be discharged by a vote of four of the district commissioners.
(2)The chief clerk may be discharged at any time by the chair who hired the chief clerk during the tenure of that chair in office as chair.
(3)The chief clerk may be discharged by a chair other than the chair who hired the chief clerk by a vote of two of the district commissioners in ad
