The Chair of the Commission on Government and Finance of Marshall County shall serve as Chair of the Marshall County Commission and shall hold office until the first Monday after the second Tuesday in January 1979, and until his or her successor is elected and qualified, and shall receive for his or her services, payable out of the county treasury, the sum of six thousand six hundred dollars ($6,600) per year and an additional three thousand dollars ($3,000) per year for expenses.
