Text

(a)The county shall pay the county employees the salary established by the board in accordance with the salary authorization for each classification, and no other additional compensation shall be paid to county employees except as provided in subsection (b).
(b)The board may recommend to the commission a cost-of-living increase applicable to county employees. However, only the commission may establish or grant a cost-of-living increase.
