Text

In Marshall County, the returning officer, inspector, and clerks who work at polling places, are hereby entitled to an additional per diem allowance in such amount as, together with the sum authorized by Section 17-6-13, as amended, will equal the total of thirty-five dollars ($35) for each day each such officer works at the polls. In addition, the election officials shall be entitled to mileage at the same rate as mileage allowance provided for state employees. The expense allowance and mileage provided for in this section shall be paid from the general fund of the county.
