Text

(a)The District Attorney for the Twenty-third Judicial Circuit is hereby authorized to appoint investigators for the office.
(b)Compensation of the investigators shall be set by the district attorney.
(c)The investigators for the Twenty-third Judicial Circuit shall have the same authority and powers vested in deputy sheriffs and all other peace officers of the State of Alabama and shall be responsible to the District Attorney for the Twenty-third Judicial Circuit and perform all duties assigned by the district attorney.
