§ 45-45-71 — Salaries

(a)Effective on the first day of the next term of office, the Chair of the Madison County Commission shall receive an annual salary of fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) and on that date, the annual expense allowance now received by the Chair of the Madison County Commission shall be abolished.
(b)Effective on the first day of the next term of office, the members of the Madison County Commission, other than the chair, shall receive an annual salary of thirty-nine thousand five hundred dollars ($39,500) and on that date, the annual expense allowance now received by the members of the Madison County Commission shall be abolished.
