Text

(a)The Madison County Commission shall enforce Sections 11-98-1 to 11-98-7, inclusive, as amended, relating to emergency telephone service and the procedures for rate setting or increases.
(b)The Madison County Commission shall require the board of commissioners of the district to give details of the net dollars and cents increase per month per subscriber and for each service. No increase shall be valid in Madison County or in any municipality without such information. Any expenditure in providing such information made by the board of commissioners in an amount in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000), must be approved by the county commission.
