Text
All personnel employed by the Madison County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 16, Act 488, 1978 Regular Session (Acts 1978, p. 530), who have been certified by the Alabama Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission, shall have the same authority and powers vested in deputy sheriffs and all other peace officers of the State of Alabama. Such personnel shall be responsible to the Madison County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission and shall perform all duties assigned to them by the commission.
