(a)The Macon County Commission shall be composed of four members, each of whom shall be elected from the single-member districts previously established by the Macon County Commission. In addition, the chair of the county commission shall be elected from the county at-large. The terms of all four county commissioners and the chair of the county commission shall continue to run concurrently with the terms of the county board of education and each member of the commission shall be elected to serve four-year terms.
