Text
The total compensation, including salary and expense allowance, paid to the chair and members of the county commission, the judge of probate, the revenue commissioner, and the sheriff under general law and Act 2001-560 as of October 1, 2004, is hereby ratified and confirmed as the proper compensation for each of these officials, and shall continue as the total compensation, including salary and expense allowance, paid to each official until such time as the requirements of Section 11-2A-4 have been met. Any compensation being paid as expense allowance on March 10, 2006, shall convert to salary beginning at the next term of office.
