Text

It shall be the duty of the commission to pass upon the appropriateness of:

(1)The exterior architectural features of buildings and structures to be erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, renovated, or restored within any historic preservation district, except as hereinafter provided.
(2)The removal or demolition of any structure or building within any historic preservation district.
(3)The erection of any sign within any historic preservation district, provided, however, that passing on the appropriateness of a marker identifying the address and occupants of a residence shall not be within the province of the commission.
