Text

The civil service board shall consist of five members to be appointed by the members of the City Council of the City of Florence. In each year the city council shall appoint one person as the successor to the member of the civil service board whose term shall expire that year. The person so appointed shall hold office for a term of five years from and including the first Tuesday after the first Monday of April of the year and until his or her successor shall be appointed and qualify for office. Appointments to fill vacancies on the board shall be for the unexpired term. Any member of the board whose term shall expire shall be eligible to reappointment.
