Text

The Legislature hereby finds and determines that the following conditions exist:

(1)That it is to the interest of the citizens of the City of Florence that there be established in that city a civic center;
(2)that such civic center will be a great cultural asset and constitute a great civic betterment for all of the people of Florence; and (3) that it is desirable that there be established to operate, control, and manage the civic center a public corporation created by this part, vested with the powers conferred on the corporation by this part. The Legislature declares that it is the purpose of this part to facilitate, in the manner hereinafter prescribed, the establishment, maintenance, and operation of a civic center in the City of Florence and to provide for the operation and manageme
