Text

(a)In Lauderdale County, the fee for issuance of a permit to carry a pistol in a vehicle or concealed on or about the person, as provided in Section 13A-11-75, shall be as follows:
(1)Ten dollars ($10) for an annual permit.
(2)Fifty dollars ($50) for a five-year permit.
(3)Three hundred dollars ($300) for a lifetime permit.
(4)One hundred fifty dollars ($150) for a lifetime permit if the applicant is 60 years of age or older at the time of application.
(5)No charge for a service member, a retired or honorably discharged military veteran, a law enforcement officer, or an honorably retired law enforcement officer as provided in Section 13A-11-75.
(b)(1) Any and all monies collected pursuant to subsection (a) shall be deposited by the Sheriff of Lauderdale County in any bank located in
