Text

(a)Commencing with the next election of the Lauderdale County Superintendent of Education occurring after January 1, 2021, the superintendent shall be elected by the qualified electors of Lauderdale County who reside outside of the corporate limits of the City of Florence, and shall hold office for four years and until his or her successor is elected and qualified.
(b)The appropriate election officials shall conduct elections of the Lauderdale County Superintendent of Education in conformity with this part.
