Text

(a)The purpose for which the district shall be created shall be to plan, finance, construct, develop, maintain, and operate facilities to be located within the district to accommodate the holding of sports events, athletic contests, and other events of public interest.
(b)The district shall not be required to pay any taxes or assessments upon any property acquired or used by it pursuant to this subpart, upon the income therefrom.
(c)The books and records of the district shall be subject to audit annually by the State Auditor, its employees shall be listed on the central listing of state employees, and it shall invest its idle funds in accordance with the investment of the idle funds act.
(d)The district, the commissioners, and the employees shall be subject to the State Ethics Commissi
