(a)This section shall apply to Jefferson County and to no other county.
(b)As used herein these terms have the meanings hereby given them:
(1)COUNTY. Jefferson County.
(2)COUNTY COMMISSION. The County Commission of Jefferson County, Alabama.
(c)Commencing at the next term of office, and commencing at the beginning date of each successive term of office thereafter, the annual salary of the president of the county commission is hereby fixed at sixty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($67,500).
(d)Commencing at the next term of office and commencing at the beginning date of each successive term of office thereafter, the annual salary of each of the four associate county commissioners of the county commission is hereby fixed at an amount which is one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,5
