Text
(a)In Jackson County, beginning October 1, 2025, the salary of the judge of probate shall be one hundred thirty-two thousand dollars ($132,000) per year payable in installments from the general fund of the county. The salary provided in this subsection shall be in lieu of any other compensation, expense allowance, or fees provided to the judge of probate prior to October 1, 2025.
(b)In addition to the salary provided under subsection (a), the judge of probate shall be entitled to the same uniform increases in compensation, including cost-of-living increases, that are granted equally after October 1, 2025, to all county employees of Jackson County, notwithstanding Section 11-2A-4.
