For purposes of electing members of the Geneva County Commission in 1988 and 1990, the county is hereby divided into four county commission districts as defined by resolution duly adopted by the Geneva County Commission on July 12, 1976, and spread upon the minutes of the regular session of the county commission held on that date. For purposes of electing members of the Geneva County Commission in 1992 and thereafter, the members serving on the Geneva County Commission during the months of February and March of 1991, shall divide the county into four contiguous commission districts in such manner that each district shall have approximately the same population as every other district, as nearly as practicable.
