Text

All offices and positions of Geneva County shall be divided into the exempt service and the classified service.

(1)a. The exempt service shall include: 1. The positions of all elected officials of Geneva County. 2. The positions of voluntary personnel and personnel appointed to serve without pay. 3. The positions of consultants rendering temporary professional service. 4. All positions involving seasonal or part-time employment. 5. The positions of attorneys rendering legal service. 6. Employees not paid exclusively by Geneva County. b. Such positions in the exempt service held by employees of boards and commissions may be placed in the classified service by resolution of the personnel board after favorable recommendation by such other board or commission, and the personnel board in such r
