Text

The chair, with approval of the county commission, shall employ a clerk/administrator who shall devote his or her time to the duties of his or her office, and he or she shall receive compensation for his or her services as may be determined and fixed by the county commission, and the county commission may employ other clerical help and assistance as may be deemed necessary for the proper, efficient, and economical operation of the office of the county commission. The clerk/administrator shall enter the minutes of all proceedings of the county commission in a well bound book provided for that purpose, which book shall be kept in the office of the county commission and shall be open to the inspection of the public at all reasonable hours. The clerk/administrator shall keep a complete record
