Text
Upon successfully completing the minimum standards of training and other requirements for law enforcement officers of the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission, a community corrections officer employed by the Community Punishment and Corrections Authority of the 24th Judicial Circuit, operating in Fayette County, shall have the same law enforcement powers, including powers of arrest, as granted to law enforcement officers of this state.
