§ 45-26-50 — Office Abolished

(a)In Elmore County, effective at the end of the current term of office, the office of constable provided for in each election precinct pursuant to Chapter 23 of Title 36 is abolished.
(b)Any assets, money, property, equipment, and supplies belonging to any office of constable shall be transferred to the Elmore County Commission for use or disposition as the county commission deems appropriate.
