Text

(a)In Covington County there is created a fund to be designated the “District Attorney’s Fund” of the Twenty-second Judicial Circuit, which fund shall be at the disposal of the district attorney of the circuit, and shall be expended by him or her for the payment of any and all expenses to be incurred for law enforcement and in the discharge of the duties of the office.
(b)The fund shall be deposited in any bank in the county, which shall be an approved depository for the public funds, and shall be payable upon the order of the district attorney of the circuit by check signed by him or her as such officer or by his or her duly authorized designee. Such designee shall be required to post bond in such amount as required by the district attorney and the bond shall be paid from the District A
