Text

(a)In Covington County, the fee for issuance of a permit to carry a pistol concealed on or about the person or in a vehicle shall be collected by the sheriff as follows:
(1)Twenty-five dollars ($25) for an annual permit for any individual 19 years of age through 59 years of age.
(2)Twenty dollars ($20) for an annual permit for any individual 60 years of age or older.
(3)Three hundred dollars ($300) for a lifetime permit for any individual 19 years of age through 59 years of age.
(4)One hundred fifty dollars ($150) for a lifetime permit for any individual 60 years of age or older.
(5)No charge for any individual presenting proof of their status as any of the following: a. An active member of the military. b. A veteran of the military who was discharged or released under conditions oth
