Text

(a)(l) Commencing on October 1, 1997, the Judge of Probate, Sheriff, and the Revenue Commissioner of Coosa County shall be entitled to an additional expense allowance so that the salary and expense allowance of each respective county officer shall be equal to the following amounts on an annual basis: a. Judge of probate $60,000 b. Sheriff 50,000 c. Revenue commissioner 50,000
(2)This expense allowance shall be payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county.
(b)Beginning with the expiration of the respective terms of the incumbent county officer affected by this section, the annual salary for the judge of probate, sheriff, and revenue commissioner shall be increased to the amount of the compensation and expense allowance provided by subsection (a) on an annual b
