Text

The license commissioner may mail a notice or an application for renewal of licenses to the named licensee to which the motor vehicle has been previously issued. The notice or renewal forms may be in postcard form and shall contain sufficient information thereon to adequately identify and process the renewal. For mail order system renewals, the signature of the licensee thereon and proper remittance shall constitute sufficient authority for the issuance of the renewed license by mail. There is hereby established a mail order fee, the amount of which shall be set from time to time by the county commission. The proceeds of the fee shall be expended for the costs of the mailing procedure herein provided, and the fee shall be collected at the time of issuance and paid over to the general fund
