Text
There is created a board to be designated and known as the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame. The board shall be composed of 11 members with at least one member chosen from each of the following fields: Politics, art, education, business, law, community service, medicine, religion, and science. The initial members of the board shall be appointed by the Governor. In addition, the Governor and the president or chief executive officer of the institution that hosts the hall shall serve as voting members of the board. The executive secretary shall serve as a nonvoting member of the board. The board shall meet semiannually and at other times as its rules and bylaws may prescribe.
