Text
The commission created herein shall consist of 18 members, to be appointed by the Governor, who shall be bona fide residents and qualified voters of this state, at least six of whom shall be residents of Talladega County. The remaining members of the commission shall be appointed from throughout the state in such manner as to provide general statewide representation on the commission. All members shall be knowledgeable and interested in the automobile racing industry and the automobile industry and in the promotion of interest in such fields. Nine of the original members shall be appointed for terms of four years, and nine members shall be appointed for terms of eight years.
